رشيد جلول معمارٌ عربي ولد و ترعرع في العاصمة اللبنانية بيروت
حاز على شهادة بالهندسة المعمارية من الجامعة اللبنانية الأمريكية حينما كان في الوقت عينه يداوم كباحث مستقل في كليتي الفن التشكيلي و علم النفس
بعد إتمام الدراسة الجامعية عمل في عدة شركات هندسية لبنانية و عالمية مثل مكتب كريم نادر و شركة بي إس لاب في بيروت و مكتب نقولا دهان في باريس كما مكتب انريك رويز جلي في برشلونة
تم تغيير مكان إقامته من بيروت لبرشلونة في شهر تشرين الأول أكتوبر عام ٢٠١٦م ذو الحجة ١٤٧٣ه حيث أقدم على بحث الماجستير بالهندسة المعمارية المتطورة في مركز كتالونيا للبحث الهندسي المتطور حيث ارتكز مضمون البرنامج على علم التصميم و التصنيع الرقمي كما شدد على ضرورة وكيفية البناء البيئوي
في ظل الفترة الدراسية و بعدها بعام عمل رشيد جلول كمعلم مساعد لطلاب الماجستير الهندسي ذوي إختصاص العمار البيئوي كما و نظم ورشة دراسية في جامعة فرجينيا تك في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية مع زميلته زرينكا راديتش تحت إشراف المهندس انريك رويز جلي
درس رشيد الموسيقى العربية بدءاً من عام ٢٠٠٧م ١٤٢٧ه فتعلم العود مع محترف العود اللبناني أحمد نظام و منذ ذاك الوقت بات يعزف و يلحن مقطوعات موسيقية صغيرة
عام ٢٠١٢م ١٤٣٣ه خاض تجربة مفصلية في حياته حين تعلم اليوغا في برنامج الهندسة المكنونية مع مؤسسة ايشا و تطوع في فرع لبنان لدى المؤسسة عينها لمدة ثلاث سنوات
يكرس رشيد وقته الآن و هو فنانٌ باحثٌ مقيم في مركز لا إنفينيتا ببرشلونة في إنشاء برنامج دراسي يحتوي على كل من المشاريع التالية
معجمٌ من نوع جديد يربط بين المعاني اللغوية و أوزانها السمعية بالأشكال و الرموز الهندسية
أدب نثري و شعري تصويري يبحث في ماهية ثالوث الماء الزمن و الجاذبية من منظار هندسي
رواية مرسومة خيالية تشكك بصحة الواقعة العلمية التي تقتضي وجود الماء كشرط للحياة الفضائية غير الأرضية كما البحث بميزات الماء غير الشرابية
أدب و نقد نثري لتاريخ إنتماء الثقافي و الأممي لدى شعوب الشرق الأوسط و البحر المتوسط و تصنيف مضمونه و صراعاته كتحصيل حاصل مسير يتبع معالم و ميول الماء لدى جغرافيا تلك البلاد

Rasheed Jalloul is an Arab architect born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon.
He completed his studies with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Lebanese American University (LAU) while simultaneously attending the School of Fine Arts and the School of Psychology as an independent student.
After that he interned and worked in several Lebanese and international architecture and design firms including Karim Nader Studio and PSLab in Beirut, Nicolas Dahan Architecte DPLG in Paris and Enric Ruiz-Geli Project (Cloud9) in Barcelona.
He came to Barcelona in October of 2016 to enroll in the Master of Advanced Architecture program at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). The masters focused on computational design, digital fabrication and self sufficient building.
During his enrollment in the masters program and after graduating, for a year, Rasheed taught as a research assistant in the Self Sufficient buildings research line in IAAC during which he also organized a traveling studio in Virginia Tech, USA alongside close friend Zrinka Radic under the course leadership of Enric Ruiz-Geli.
Rasheed started studying Arabic music in 2007 under the Lebanese Oud virtuoso Ahmad Nizam. He’s been playing the Oud and occasionally composing short pieces of music ever since.
In 2012 he embarked on a life changing experience after taking Inner Engineering among several other yoga and meditation programs with Isha Foundation. Between 2012 and 2015 he was a core volunteer in Isha Yoga Lebanon.
He is currently fully investing his time in the design of an educational project that includes:
A New Type of Dictionary, that explores the relation of geometry, sound and meaning.
Portraits of Water-Time-Gravity: A Trinity of Geometry, a series of essays and poems illustrating an architectural view of water, time and gravity as different faces of the same physical reality.
A Young Adult’s Graphic Novel, a work of fiction questioning the necessity of water for the existence of extraterrestrial life on one hand, and exploring the meanings of water on earth beyond potability.
Identity Politics as a Consequence of Water, a series of essays that reflect on cultural identity around the Mediterranean and neighboring major rivers and water bodies.
